2. Every song on this disc is great.. CD reads like a who's who in romantic soul music.. From the late great Marvin Gaye's Let's Get It on(One of my personal favorite slow jams of all times) to One of the greatest R&B singers ever Teddy Pendergrass has two classics on this disc The Whole Town's Laughing At Me and Turn Off The Lights/5(13).

3. Slow Jams, Vol. 2 is better than the volume that preceded it. Playing it close to the vest, Slow Jams, Vol. 1 offered the hits and zero surprises. Slow Jams, Vol. 2 has a few more songs that continued to be radio staples of the R&B genre rather than pop successes. That's 6/

8. Nov 18,  · The CD was full of quality Slow Jams, from tear-jerkers like It’s So Hard To Say Goodbye, and Lonely Heart, to straight up sexed-out pieces like Uhh Ahh. Some of favorite Slow Jams on the CD include Please Don’t Go, Your Love, This Is My Heart, and Little Things. Another CD that has seen many a hot nights of play in my CD player, this was a disc that if could talk, I’d be in trouble.
