  5. The Boswell Sisters were an American close harmony singing trio of the jazz and swing eras, consisting of three sisters: Martha Boswell (June 9, – July 2, ), Connee Boswell (original name Connie, December 3, – October 11, ), and Helvetia "Vet" .
  6. This is a fabulous sounding collection of the Boswell SIsters. They led the way in feminine, sexy and sweet harmony in jazz singing. Coming out of vaudeville, they were performers used to the stage. Being from New Orleans helped shape their jazz intergrity.
